Affirmations For A Positive Mindset

Some people believe in affirmations and affirming themselves daily. I am one of those people who believe in positive affirmations. First off, an affirmation is an positive assertion or an assertion that one makes about one self to support and encourage one’s self emotionally. Therefore, a positive affirmation happens when a person makes a positive statement about one’s self that he or she believes is true to encourage themselves emotionally. People repeat positive affirmations to themselves to describe who or what they think they are and to encourage themselves to be a better version of that in the future. I myself have some practice with chanting them to myself periodically and or reading them daily to help myself grow mentally or emotionally as I challenge myself to overcome negative thoughts and or self-sabotaging behaviors. If you or someone you know struggles with negative thoughts or being too hard on yourselves, practicing chanting and or reading some positive affirmations may be helpful or useful in helping to positively improve your mindset as well. Below are 10 examples of positive affirmations that I use to affirm myself from time to time. You can borrow mine or make some of your own up to affirm yourself. Enjoy, and Happy August! 🙂
